Available Services - Testing
The PDC has a broad range of testing services to support your R & D projects. We
routinely analyze process samples, extracts, and liquors using HPLC, HPAC, and other advanced equipment. Our controlled
environment room provides a variety of tests to characterize the properties of pulp and fibrous raw
materials. Additional testing devices and wet lab facilities are available to serve
client needs with tests ranging from the mundane to the state-of-the-art. The PDC also performs a
wide range of image analysis, from determining fiber morphology to digital imaging at the nano-molecular scale. Testing can be performed in real-time during refining, coating, extraction, and paper machine trials. The PDC labs can also support mill trials for rapid response and problem solving and in situations requiring timely resolution.
